ThermaVein® at The Glorious Spa

ThermaVein® is an advanced, non-invasive treatment designed to safely and effectively remove facial thread veins (spider veins). It works by delivering a fine, controlled electrical pulse through a small needle, causing the walls of the affected veins to seal and collapse. This process leads to the gradual fading and eventual disappearance of the veins.

ThermaVein® is popular because it offers immediate results, minimal discomfort, and no downtime. It’s suitable for all skin types, and the risk of scarring or pigmentation changes is low. The procedure is typically used to treat facial thread veins but can also be used to treat milia, skin tags, cherry angioma, warts and verrucas.

Most issues respond with just one treatment, however we will schedule a review between 4 - 6 weeks to check our work and re-treat if necessary.

Yes. Skin lesions such as thread veins, milia, verrucas, warts, skin tags and cherry angioma won’t come back, however it is important to note that if you are predisposed to these skin conditions they may recur again in the future.

Generally yes, however there are some contraindications to the treatment such as pregnancy, breast feeding, history of skin cancer, Immunocompromised conditions, blood thinners, diabetes, history of keloid scarring, impaired sensation, impaired circulation, Allergy to nickel,  heart and circulatory problems.
